【UPDATE: June 3, 2026, 10:43 PM PST】
The Pokémon Company has officially confirmed that "Pokémon Champions" is launching on App Store and Google Play on June 17, 2026! This finally validates the previously leaked store page dates. The company announced that pre-registrations are now open for the mobile version, letting players jump into Pokémon battles anytime on their Android and iOS devices.
Good news for existing players: if you've been battling on Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2, your save data will seamlessly transfer to mobile by linking the same Nintendo Account. This means you can pick up right where you left off with your current team and progress!
To celebrate the mobile launch, a special login bonus is up for grabs! From June 17, 2026, until September 1, 6:49 PM PT, both Switch and mobile players can snag Raichu, Raichu Mega Stone X, and Raichu Mega Stone Y from their in-game mailboxes.

In "Pokémon Champions," Mega Raichu X boasts the "Electric Surge" ability, while Mega Raichu Y gets "No Guard." This means players can strategically choose between setting up an Electric Terrain or unleashing perfectly accurate Thunder and Thunder Wave attacks to dominate opponents.
Before the official word dropped, the mobile launch date for "Pokémon Champions" seemed to have leaked early! Today, multiple players spotted the "Pokémon battle" newcomer pop up on Google Play and Apple's App Store pages. The App Store even listed a June 17, 2026 release, aligning perfectly with earlier online rumors.

"Pokémon Champions" is a fresh take on Pokémon battles, bringing all the familiar mechanics like types, abilities, and moves to one unified platform. This makes it easy for both newcomers and seasoned trainers to build their dream teams and dive into combat. The official website currently shows the game is out on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, with the mobile version originally slated for release sometime in 2026.
Back then, the June 17 date on the Apple App Store perfectly aligned with the previously announced 2026 window for the mobile version, sparking widespread belief that this would be the official launch day for both iOS and Android. At the time, The Pokémon Company hadn't officially announced the exact mobile release date via press release, so there was always a chance store page dates could shift due to regional or platform approval processes.

Now that the date is locked in, "Pokémon Champions" mobile will soon let phone players join the fray. This expansion across Switch, iOS, and Android solidifies its spot as a new cornerstone for official Pokémon competitive battling!
