At Summer Game Fest 2026, one of the world's biggest gaming showcases held on June 6th, SEGA dropped a brand new trailer for "Stranger Than Heaven," the latest title from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. Alongside revealing new cast members, they also announced the game's release date: January 15, 2027.

Beyond the release date, the biggest buzz is definitely around the fresh lineup of cast members, including:
Masashi Hataoka, played by Takeshi Ujaji
Takeo Godai, played by Takaya Kuroda
Suekichi, played by Kohei Tsuji (member of comedy duo "Nippon Shacho")
Tetsuya Hama, played by Yasukaze Motomiya
Amal, played by Tupac
But the real mic drop? The legendary Tupac! The iconic 90s American rapper, who tragically passed at just 25, is widely hailed as one of the greatest hip-hop artists ever. After Snoop Dogg was announced previously, who would've thought another legend would join the roster?

The game's narrative will span multiple eras, chronicling the epic lives of its characters.
