Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Event Message Board Gets a Wish for "Lewd Taimanin-Style Cards," Officials Cover It Up (Mostly)

The recent Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG event in Osaka, a two-day extravaganza of tournaments and fan activities, kicked off with the YCSJ on June 13th, followed by a Duelist Carnival. As is tradition, organizers set up a massive message board at the venue entrance, inviting players to share their thoughts and wishes for the game.

One Japanese netizen, @mitogawa, couldn't help but share a hilarious sight they spotted on the board. Someone had penned a request: "Please release more lewd cards, like from 'Taimanin'!" And right next to this rather bold suggestion? A drawing of Yu-Gi-Oh!'s beloved female character, Dian Keto the Cure Master. Naturally, it sent @mitogawa into a fit of laughter.

But alas, such provocative wishes rarely last. Another netizen later reported that officials had swiftly intervened, covering the offending message with a white paper that politely read, "Thank you for attending, from all staff." The Dian Keto illustration, however, remained untouched.

This led to some priceless reactions online. One user quipped, "The request for lewd cards disappeared, but now only the lewd illustration remains!" Another joked, "Does this mean they want a Taimanin-style Dian Keto?"

Many netizens agreed that bringing up a hardcore adult game IP like "Taimanin" in a public setting was indeed inappropriate, praising the quick official response. Comments flooded in like, "Yeah, you definitely can't do that in a public place..." and "This is a public venue, so removing it was absolutely the right call."

So, what's your take on this whole situation? Guess some wishes need a bit more thought about the time and place before they're put out into the world!
