In Japan, one grandpa has been melting hearts by sending daily "proof of life" photos of a Slowpoke plushie to his granddaughter, who accidentally left it at his house. Japanese netizen ミント（@minthkj） recently shared this heartwarming tale on X. Apparently, her daughter accidentally left her beloved Pokémon Slowpoke plushie at her grandparents' house. Since they couldn't go back to retrieve it until the following Sunday, the daughter, missing her plushie terribly, asked her grandpa to send her a daily photo of Slowpoke. 
Being the doting grandpa he is, he immediately agreed to the mission. He started diligently snapping "daily life" photos of Slowpoke and sending them to his granddaughter. What's truly amazing is how his photography skills evolved over time, transforming from simple, casual shots into adorable, well-composed works of art.
Initially, grandpa would just plop Slowpoke on the bed and snap a pic, often with a slight blur from a shaky hand. But as he got more into it, his efforts grew. He started posing Slowpoke on the towel rack, capturing the entire plushie as if it were just chilling out at home.
Then, grandpa took it up a notch, moving Slowpoke to a freshly ironed blue plaid shirt for a close-up.
