LEGO has been a beloved pastime for kids and adults alike for nearly 90 years, with countless enthusiasts using the versatile bricks to bring their favorite creations to life.
Recently, a LEGO build of the Mouri Detective Agency from "Detective Conan," crafted by a boy when he was just nine years old, went viral on Threads. The astonishing level of detail and accuracy left netizens absolutely stunned, with many exclaiming, "The realism is insane!"

The impressive creation was shared by the account "Kota" (@lego_lover2013), which showcases the works of 13-year-old LEGO prodigy Kota. Kota regularly designs original LEGO models, consistently earning praise for his innovative themes and creativity.
The piece currently making waves is his "Detective Conan" Mouri Detective Agency, completed four years ago when he was nine. What truly blew people away was the meticulous recreation of the first-floor "Café Poirot" (喫茶ポアロ).

In his build, Kota used a gray baseplate to construct the two-story building: Café Poirot on the ground floor and the Mouri Detective Agency upstairs. The café entrance features green potted plants and a black standing menu board, while the iconic red awning above the door is perfectly replicated.
But the real surprise awaits inside. Peeking through, you can even spot a blonde Amuro Tooru serving drinks to customers! The cozy, relaxed atmosphere of Café Poirot is masterfully captured through LEGO, achieving an astonishing level of completion.

Heading up the stairs to the second-floor Mouri Detective Agency, you'll find:
The client sofa, a table with coffee cups, Kogoro Mouri's large desk, and the classic black telephone. A mustachioed Kogoro Mouri, clad in a blue suit, sits in his chair, surrounded by cabinets haphazardly stacked with documents, perfectly mirroring the slightly cluttered yet lived-in feel of the detective agency from the anime.
However, the detail that truly delighted Conan fans was outside the window. A white pigeon is perched on the outdoor air conditioning unit! One netizen immediately spotted it, commenting, "Is that Kaitou Kid's pigeon on the AC unit?!" Kota's mom happily replied, "Thank you for noticing the pigeon! Kid is my son's favorite character!" This little easter egg further cemented the idea that Kota's love for the series shines through in every thoughtful detail.

Of course, this wasn't an official "Detective Conan" LEGO set; it was Kota's original design, built from scratch. Kota's mom shared, "Thanks to LEGO, his spatial reasoning seems really good! While he's not great at all math, he's particularly skilled with geometry."
After the build went public, the comment section exploded with praise: "This is incredible!!! My son also loves Conan and LEGO, I have to show him this." "The accuracy is truly next-level." "I thought it was an official special set, but he designed it himself!? That's amazing!" "He'd make a great architect in the future!"
