Nijisanji VTuber Amamiya Kokoro, part of ANYCOLOR, just dropped a bombshell announcement today (June 22): she's hosting an "Summoned Skull ASMR" stream tonight! Naturally, the internet is buzzing.
Now, for those scratching their heads, "Summoned Skull" is, of course, a legendary card from the iconic Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. But an ASMR theme? That's a wild card even for VTubers! Fans are calling it bizarre but are hyped to see what kind of chaos unfolds tonight.
Turns out, Amamiya Kokoro and "Summoned Skull" have a history. It all started when she snagged a "Summoned Skull" figure during a bingo tournament hosted by Nijisanji's "SMC Group." Her reaction? Pure meltdown on social media, utterly baffled by the bizarre prize.
And just like that, the enigmatic duo of "Amamiya Kokoro × Summoned Skull" was born. To this day, it's a running gag among Nijisanji members and fans alike.
Now, she's taking it up a notch, announcing she'll use that very same "Summoned Skull" figure – the one that even made an appearance at the Nijisanji Fes 2026 personal item display – for an ASMR stream! This unprecedented move has fans collectively scratching their heads.
Netizens are flooding the comments with gems like, "I understand every word, but none of it makes sense," "What kind of results can we expect from an ASMR with 2500 ATK?!" and "This is officially beyond my comprehension."
Seriously, who would've thought the "Amamiya Kokoro × Summoned Skull" meme would evolve into an ASMR stream? Amamiya Kokoro is... well, a genius, I guess?
But when you combine "ASMR" with "Summoned Skull" – a combo that defies all logic – even the most dedicated fans can't predict what's coming.
The stream is set for June 22 at 9 PM JST on Amamiya Kokoro's YouTube channel. Will it be a soothing ASMR session or a full-blown summoning ritual? Tune in to find out!
