Get ready, Monogatari fans! Following the 2024 broadcast of "Monogatari Series Off & Monster Season," the official Nishio Ishin novel series has announced a brand-new anime arc: "Koyomimonogatari: Karen Ouga" is hitting screens this winter! The first key visual and story synopsis have just dropped.

For those keeping track, the "Off Season" kicked off in 2015 with "Owarimonogatari," followed by "Koyomimonogatari," "Nadeko Monogatari," and "Musubimonogatari." Then came the "Monster Season" in 2017, starting with "Shinobumonogatari," and continuing with "Yoimonogatari," "Amarimonogatari," "Ougimonogatari," and "Shimonogatari."
This upcoming "Koyomimonogatari: Karen Ouga" arc is adapted from a chapter within the 2016 official "Monogatari Series" novel, "Koyomimonogatari."

The story of "Koyomimonogatari: Karen Ouga" follows Karen Araragi as she enters her first year of high school. Despite proving her strength and earning recognition from her karate master, Karen is sent on a mountain training expedition to reach even greater heights.
She heads to the Ouga Three Mountains—comprising Mt. Oni-kai, Mt. Senbari, and Mt. Kachakacha—for her rigorous training. What awaits Karen at the end of this arduous journey?

This marks the first new installment for the "Monogatari Series Off & Monster Season" anime in two years, with its premiere slated for this winter. The production team remains the same, so fans of the series can definitely look forward to more updates!
