Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently joined producer Amy Pascal on the "Happy Sad Confused" Podcast, where they discussed the potential for Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Tom Hardy's Venom to officially meet in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Host Josh Horowitz inquired about how close the two sides had come to arranging a crossover between the characters, admitting that the lack of shared screen time over the years had been disappointing.
Pascal initially responded cautiously, saying, "That would be great, let's just say that." Horowitz then pressed, "Do you still have hope?" Feige replied, "We always have hope."
While neither confirmed that a live-action crossover project is officially underway, their responses indicate that Marvel is well aware of the long-standing fan desire for Spider-Man to either confront or team up with Venom.

Feige and Pascal also confirmed that a "Venom" animated feature film is still in development. The project is reportedly slated for a February 2026 release and will be co-directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, known for "Final Destination: Bloodlines." Pascal and Hardy are also rumored to be involved, though their specific roles and the film's plot details have not yet been revealed.
During a recent promotional event for a Spider-Man project, Holland also responded to young fans, stating, "One day, I believe we will see the symbiote." However, he did not disclose whether the symbiote would appear in his upcoming film.
