Alongside the announcement, USJ also unveiled a series of new merchandise, with the absolute standout being a popcorn bucket modeled after the iconic, terrifying Licker! Get ready for your wallet to take a hit when you visit.

USJ's "Halloween Horror Nights" event consistently delivers fresh thrills every year. This year marks its 15th anniversary, bringing together various IPs for a dedicated Halloween horror extravaganza.

This year's collaboration with "Resident Evil: Requiem" brings the brand-new horror attraction, "Resident Evil: Requiem The Dive - Terror Maze."
The attraction plunges you into Raccoon City's Rainwood Hotel, where Grace went to investigate a series of bizarre deaths but then vanished. Now, you find yourself in this abandoned hotel... but the moment you step through the door, the world you knew is gone. With monsters appearing from every angle in a full 360 degrees, there's no safe spot, and no telling when the terror will end. Prepare to experience an almost suffocating level of tension firsthand.
Event Period: September 11, 2026 (Friday) – December 27, 2026

In celebration of "Halloween Horror Nights'" 15th anniversary this year, and the "Resident Evil" series' 30th anniversary, USJ is launching its first-ever "Resident Evil" themed popcorn bucket.
Inspired by the "Resident Evil" series' iconic terrifying creature, the Licker, this popcorn bucket perfectly recreates its crawling posture, right down to its long, extended tongue and sharp claws. It comes filled with Miso-flavored popcorn, which you can access by opening the Licker's head. Whether for collecting or practical use, "Resident Evil" fans will find it irresistible.

Additionally, starting September 9, the Cinema 4-D Store within the park will also be rolling out Raccoon Police Department (R.P.D.) themed cosplay merchandise and a variety of must-have fan items, allowing visitors to dive even deeper into the world of "Resident Evil."
The newly released shirt features the Raccoon Police Department badge on the chest and a large "R.P.D." logo on the back, capturing the authentic style of the in-game police uniform.

What's more, there's a 3-way multi-functional bag that can be worn as a waist bag, shoulder bag, or chest bag. Pair it with the R.P.D. shirt for the ultimate immersive experience of becoming a Raccoon City police officer and delving into the world of "Resident Evil."

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Universal Studios Japan's "Halloween Horror Nights" is set for another massive upgrade this year, delivering next-level Halloween entertainment with terror experiences that push the limits. Whether you're a "Resident Evil" fan or just looking to soak in USJ's wild Halloween atmosphere, don't miss this terrifying 15th-anniversary extravaganza!
