PREMICO (プレミコ), the Japanese brand renowned for blending high-quality timepieces and accessories with popular anime, is back at it again, ready to raid your wallet with another stunning design.
They just dropped news of a fresh collaboration with "Ghost in the Shell THE GHOST IN THE SHELL" – the anime that just got a new series this year! They're rolling out a mechanical watch inspired by none other than protagonist Motoko Kusanagi. It's priced at 54,780 JPY, limited to just 1,989 pieces, and pre-orders are already live.

This watch draws its inspiration directly from Motoko Kusanagi, the fully cybernetic Major who's always synced with the net. The main feature is a vibrant blue dial ring, symbolizing the boundless, luminous world of the network. The watch face itself is packed with metallic wiring, plugs, connectors, and intricate details reminiscent of bullet casings.

That striking blue dial ring? It's designed to evoke the "Sea of Data," shimmering with the countless lights of the cyber-network. And those dotted patterns outside the dial? They're a nod to the connectors found on a full-body cyborg. Plus, around the dial markers, you'll spot golden bullet casings, just like those ejected from a submachine gun.
The watch also boasts a captivating skeleton design, letting you peek at the intricate inner workings – giving it that irresistible vibe of wearing a piece of near-future tech. Both the hour and minute hands glow blue in the dark, while the second hand pops with a vibrant red, inspired by the iconic Tachikoma.

Flip it over, and you'll find the limited-edition serial number engraved on the case back. It also features a skeleton window, proudly displaying the "Ghost in the Shell THE GHOST IN THE SHELL" logo.

Each watch comes with a special explanatory booklet featuring an illustration of Motoko Kusanagi, all housed in a custom display box designed to look just like a Tachikoma.
