Japan is currently obsessed with the bonus "Crystal 3D Stickers" for the new movie, "Chiikawa: The Secret of Mermaid Island." Officially known as BonBon Drop 3D Stickers, these adorable collectibles have sparked a massive craze among both kids and adults, with everyone eager to collect and trade them. Many fans have also noticed "individual differences" in the character designs on the stickers, leading to lively discussions online.
However, one Japanese X user got more than they bargained for! After watching the movie and returning home, they discovered that their bonus sticker for the character Shimajiro didn't just have a slight design variation; his "pride and joy" loincloth had completely slipped down! This hilariously bizarre manufacturing error quickly went viral on X, with many exclaiming it was practically a wardrobe malfunction! XD
The X user posted:
"AHHHHHHH—!! On closer inspection, Shimajiro's pants on my sticker are so low-rise, his important bits are practically exposed! Isn't this a bit too daring, LOL?! Hmm? Does he have a double belly or something?? Well, it's certainly got a unique flavor, right?!"
Just look at the sticker this user got! The black loincloth, originally meant to cover his "pride and joy," has completely slid down. Comparing it to an official image, this "individual difference" is, well, a *bit* too different! XD
This post instantly blew up on X. Getting a Shimajiro sticker like this – should we be envious or just amused? XD
Netizens joked that with Shimajiro looking like this, the meaning of "pride and joy" takes on a whole new, questionable dimension!
Many users declared this version of the sticker a rare find. While it might be a "defective" edition, everyone agreed it was like hitting the jackpot – a flaw that's totally awesome!
But our original poster isn't alone! Another user shared that their Shimajiro sticker had the same issue. It seems these rare items might actually be found in multiples, right (?!)
It looks like these "wardrobe malfunction" Shimajiro stickers could very well become highly sought-after "special edition" collectibles for fans!
