Bandai Spirits' Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has announced the latest addition to its highly regarded THE ROBOT SPIRITS (Ka signature) line, featuring mobile suits supervised by renowned mechanical designer Hajime Katoki. The new release, "Geymalk [Re:Coordinate]," from "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ," is slated for February 2027.
The AMX-015 Geymalk is a fourth-generation mobile suit developed by the Neo Zeon forces under the command of Haman Karn during the final stages of the First Neo Zeon War. This formidable machine was specifically designed for heavy artillery combat, boasting an ultra-high-output Minovsky-type ultracompact fusion reactor and a staggering 26 Mega Particle Cannons distributed across its frame, delivering overwhelming firepower. Furthermore, the Geymalk incorporates a Psycommu System, allowing it to be piloted exclusively by Newtypes or Cyber Newtypes. This system not only significantly enhances the mobile suit's performance but also enables it to deploy two sets of internal Mother Funnels and Child Funnels for wide-ranging, all-directional attacks. In the series, the Geymalk, piloted by the Enhanced Human Chara Soon, demonstrated terrifying combat capabilities, single-handedly destroying multiple elite units such as the Doven Wolf and Mass Production Type Qubeley.
As a commemorative product for the 40th anniversary of "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ," the "THE ROBOT SPIRITS (Ka signature) Geymalk [Re:Coordinate]" is a re-release of the 2014 general retail version, featuring updated colors and markings. The entire mobile suit's color scheme has been revised from its original bright red to a more anime-accurate reddish-orange hue. The purple accents on the chest and side of the legs are now deep blue, while the tips of the limbs are highlighted in dark red. The design of the body markings remains largely the same, but they have been upgraded from water slide decals to pre-printed markings for enhanced durability and precision.
The overall sculpt remains unchanged, faithfully recreating the heavily armored design of the mobile suit at approximately 155mm tall. The figure features extensive articulation and movable mechanisms, including three interchangeable mono-eye parts for varied expressions. Multiple interchangeable hand parts are included to display various poses and cannon firing states. The legs boast deployable foot claws and calf Mega Beam Cannons. Additionally, the two sets of Mother Funnels mounted on the back can be detached, and their thruster nozzle parts can be swapped, allowing for dynamic all-range attack poses when combined with a display stand.
