The Pokemon smartphone sleep game Pokémon Sleep announced in early September that it's teaming up with NOT A HOTEL Co., Ltd. to create a "Live-in Poké Ball" project, the "Poké Ball-Themed Hotel," in Hokkaido for the game's third anniversary. This unique collaboration will offer lucky participants the special experience of staying inside a Poké Ball.
On the 15th, the official reveal of the "Live-in Poké Ball" project's full design was made, along with details on how to enter. Simply register for the official event, and 10 lucky winners will be chosen for a two-day, one-night stay.

The "Poké Ball-Themed Hotel" event is a special project commemorating both the 30th anniversary of Pokemon and the 3rd anniversary of Pokémon Sleep. A real, 3-meter-diameter, live-in Poké Ball-shaped hotel has been constructed on the lakeside in Tomakomai, Hokkaido.

The hotel's interior is designed as a functional bedroom for overnight stays, complete with a circular bed, air conditioning, and lighting. A large curved acrylic window is built into one part of the sphere, allowing guests to enjoy Hokkaido's magnificent natural scenery right from their bed.
The circular mattress is a custom "NELL Mattress" model, featuring an impressive 2,350 individual pocket springs. The adjacent bathroom boasts tiles inspired by Snorlax's color scheme, showcasing thoughtful details throughout.

The interior also incorporates an exclusive system developed by NOT A HOTEL's smart home team. Guests can select their favorite Pokemon via a tablet device, and when the lights are turned off, the room will display a special light show themed to that Pokemon, creating a unique ambiance.

Registration for the "Live-in Poké Ball" event runs from September 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM until September 30. To enter, simply follow the official Pokémon Sleep X account, download the game, post on X using "#LiveInPokeball" and "@PokemonSleepApp," and complete the dedicated application form.

Prize A is a voucher for a one-night, two-day stay at the Poké Ball-shaped hotel, while Prize B is an in-game item code for the Pokémon Sleep app, which all registrants will receive.
The prize allows for up to two guests (the winner and one companion) to stay. Accommodation is completely free and includes dinner, breakfast, and selected beverages. However, transportation costs to the accommodation location (Hokkaido) must be covered by the winner. For detailed event information, please visit the official event website.

The prize stay is for two days and one night. Participants can register by selecting their preferred date from October 8 (Thursday) to October 18 (Sunday) (tentative).
