Zendaya, one of the busiest and hottest young stars working today, is gearing up for another promotional push for "Dune: Part Three" — and she has now added another movie to her packed upcoming slate. A24, which recently teamed with Zendaya on "The Drama," has announced a second feature collaboration with the actress. This time, the studio is pivoting from pitch-black comedy to science fiction.

The sci-fi project does not yet have an official title, and plot details remain under wraps, but "Ex Machina" filmmaker Alex Garland is set to direct. Garland has become a frequent A24 collaborator, with the studio releasing much of his work. In addition to "Ex Machina," that lineup includes "Civil War," "Men" and "Warfare," as well as the upcoming live-action fantasy epic "Elden Ring," which is currently in post-production.
