Produced by PLEX and released by X-PLUS TOYS, the premium Real Master Collection statue line has once again teamed up with acclaimed kaiju sculptor Yuji Sakai for the second entry in its Yuji Sakai Best Works Selection series: "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah Poster Version." Standard and RIC Exclusive editions will be available for ¥79,750 and ¥81,950, respectively, with both scheduled for release in April 2027.

Released in 1991, "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah" was the third film in TOHO's Heisei Godzilla series. The story follows three time travelers who journey back to 1944, seeking to prevent Godzilla from becoming humanity's greatest future threat by removing the Godzillasaurus from Lagos Island. Their actions alter history, however, turning King Ghidorah into an even greater danger to humankind.

Six years after 2020's "Godzilla (2004) Poster Version 'Farewell, Godzilla.'," the series is finally back with its second release. This time, Yuji Sakai has transformed Noriyoshi Ohrai's iconic theatrical poster artwork for "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah" into a fully realized three-dimensional statue.

Measuring approximately 44 cm tall, 30 cm deep, and 43 cm wide, the large-scale statue captures the poster's powerful composition of King Ghidorah coiling around Godzilla. Every claw, fang, and scale has been intricately sculpted, while Ghidorah's metallic finish creates a striking contrast against Godzilla's rough, dark hide. The dramatic poster artwork has been recreated with incredible impact from every angle. A nameplate engraved with the film title and series number decorates the front of the display base.

The RIC Exclusive Edition also features LED lighting inside Godzilla's mouth and dorsal fins, as well as within the mouths of all three King Ghidorah heads. Once activated, the statue glows red, blue, and yellow to match the original poster's color palette, further enhancing the intensity of Yuji Sakai's sculptural interpretation.
