Gundam's official fashion label STRICT-G has released a wide range of popular apparel through its military-inspired sub-brand, STRICT-G ARMS.
Its latest release draws on Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ for a new pair of Tanker Jackets, available in A.E.U.G. and Neo Zeon versions. Priced at ¥26,400 each, both jackets are now available to preorder through Premium Bandai in Japan.
This release is based on the classic Tanker Jacket, a winter military uniform originally developed for U.S. armored vehicle and tank crews during World War II. The jacket later enjoyed a vintage revival thanks to the Brad Pitt film Fury, cementing its status as a staple of military-inspired streetwear.

Two designs are available, inspired by the A.E.U.G. and Neo Zeon. Each jacket is made from a cotton fabric known as "Heavy Weapon," which offers a structured feel and a rich sheen. One of the material's biggest draws is how it naturally develops character with wear, gradually taking on the lived-in look of a vintage piece.
The interior features a wool-blend polyester blanket lining, while a storm flap behind the zipper provides added protection against the wind. Both versions also feature faction patches on each sleeve, bringing a signature piece of Universal Century style into the real world.
