Released by SEGA last September, racing game "Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds" unveiled its second paid DLC pack for Season Two on its official X account on November 2. The upcoming Evangelion crossover was revealed alongside behind-the-scenes design materials for Rei Ayanami and Shikinami Asuka Langley's plugsuit-inspired racing outfits.
The "Evangelion Pack" will arrive in January 2027 as the second DLC release for Season Pass Two. Rei Ayanami and Shikinami Asuka Langley will join the roster as playable racers, taking the competition to the streets of Tokyo-III.
The newly released artwork features concept sketches of Rei Ayanami and Shikinami Asuka Langley's exclusive racing outfits for "Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds." Each design blends the look of an EVA plugsuit with unique details that capture the two characters' distinct personalities in the game.
The DLC will also add Tokyo-III as a new course, along with three machines inspired by the iconic Evangelion units: EVA Unit-01 EVA-01, EVA Unit-00 EVA-00, and EVA Unit-02 EVA-02.
"Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds" Season Two DLC is now available to purchase, giving fans of the game and Evangelion crossover plenty to look forward to.
