Mighty Jaxx reshapes the timeless fairy tale through his subjective artistic vision, Alice in Wasteland (Alice In Wasteland).
We never explore the large amounts of electronic waste, leading to increasingly serious pollution problems on Earth. Forests are cut down and replaced by massive factories.
MightyJaxx wants to remind us: when everything is replaced by waste, when waste replaces nature, and green turns to gray, will you still gaze in awe at this world? Alice sits among heaps of electronic trash, her clothes tattered, hair disheveled, tightly gripping a dying flower. She feels deeply saddened by the state of the world.
The figure stands about 21 cm tall. The overall coloring is neat, though the base made of waste lacks detail. However, the gray-toned base made of waste highlights the colorful Alice, creating a strong visual contrast. From an artistic perspective, it indeed forms a very interesting picture. Of course, what attracts me the most about the entire piece is the "strong message" conveyed by the creator… Humanity is undeniably the worst cancer cell on Earth, but it can also become the strongest guardian of the planet. It depends on how we humans address environmental issues in the future, to see whether the outcome is self-inflicted misfortune or if we can allow future generations to continue joyfully onward!
Wishing everyone good luck………… Christmas, are you all happy?
