The alluring and deadly villainess is here! Renowned Korean collectibles brand Blitzway is teaming up with Korean toy brand 5PRO STUDIO to release a stunning statue of the popular antagonist Doronjo from the classic Japanese anime "Yatterman"! This piece is scheduled for a Q2 2022 release.
The character Doronjo hails from "Yatterman," a 1977 anime series produced by the legendary animation studio Tatsunoko Production. It is the second installment in the iconic "Time Bokan Series." The story follows the heroic "Yatterman" duo as they battle the thieving "Doronbo Gang" in a race to find the legendary Skull Stone. Doronjo, the leader of the Doronbo Gang, became an incredibly popular character despite her villainous role and remains a favorite among cosplayers. The "Yatterman" series has seen modern remakes and even a live-action film, where Doronjo was beautifully and glamorously portrayed by renowned actress Kyoko Fukada.

This new Doronjo statue from Blitzway and 5PRO STUDIO is crafted in 1/4 scale. Despite her seated pose, the figure stands at an impressive height of approximately 39 cm. This interpretation of Doronjo moves away from the comedic feel of the original anime, opting instead for a more realistic, mysterious, and glamorous aesthetic that exudes quality. Doronjo's stunning figure is on full display, radiating the commanding presence of a true boss. Key features are perfectly recreated, from her iconic mask and the dynamic flow of her long blonde hair to her glossy, form-fitting costume. Even her signature skull-tipped smoking pipe, complete with a wisp of smoke, has been flawlessly captured.
