Unboxing: Myethos' Hatsune Miku: Shaohua Ver. Figure is Absolutely Breathtaking!

Hello everyone, today we're unboxing and reviewing Myethos' Hatsune Miku: Shaohua Ver. figure.

Myethos, a Chinese manufacturer, has a reputation for generally stable quality, though some past releases have had minor discrepancies between the final product and promotional images. My previous experience with their Zhao Ling-Er figure, for instance, had some differences from the official photos, but it was far from the "evil god" level of extreme poor quality, and I personally found the overall figure to be quite good. While reviews for other products have been mixed, their overall quality remains consistent.

When the official promotional images for this "Hatsune Miku: Shaohua Ver." (Shaohua can be interpreted as "youthful years" or "beautiful time") were first released, they immediately captivated everyone. Her overall elegance and design were incredibly striking. Despite the potential risk of discrepancies between the prototype and the final product, I pre-ordered her without hesitation.

Thankfully, the final production piece did not disappoint. This is truly one of the most beautiful Hatsune Miku PVC figures released recently.

Here are the photos:

The transparent outer box, free from excessive graphics, immediately struck me as perfect for use as a display case. I decided right away to keep it for that purpose.

The figure itself exudes classical beauty, departing from Miku's signature twin-tail hairstyle. When displayed alongside other Miku collectibles, she truly stands out.

Regarding the details, her face sculpt is nearly flawless, looking beautiful from every angle. However, there's room for improvement in the hair details. While the overall hairstyle is complex and ornate, a closer look reveals some areas that feel a bit "blurry" or lacking crisp definition.

The clothing is also beautifully rendered. The intricate patterns on the collar and shoulders are faithfully sculpted. Although the color palette is quite subtle, making them less distinct in photos, the execution of these patterns is truly meticulous. (Perhaps it's time to seriously consider getting a macro lens for unboxing detail shots...)

The left hand can be swapped between a version holding a fan and one without, with the wristband cleverly concealing the joint. Even these small, intricate parts feature flawless paint application.

The cheongsam's high slit, combined with her demure sitting pose, allows for a generous yet tastefully modest display of her thighs. It's perfectly balanced, avoiding any overly suggestive or erotic feel.

Even the stockings feature sculpted patterns, demonstrating the incredible attention to detail throughout the figure.

The base, which extends upwards to form a scenic backdrop, is another highlight, making the overall display rich and aesthetically pleasing. The potted plants and foliage on the base are also meticulously crafted, not just an afterthought, adding significant value to the diorama.

While the interchangeable hand holding the fan gives her a charmingly shy expression, the dark edge of the fan rests directly against her face. To prevent potential paint transfer over time, I only attached it for the unboxing photos and prefer to display her without the fan normally.

That concludes the overview of the figure's contents. Overall, only the hair left me slightly less impressed; everything else is a top-tier execution. I personally believe this is a must-have for any collector, whether you're a Hatsune Miku fan or not. She truly looks stunning on display!~~
