Bandai Spirits' TAMASHII NATIONS collectible toy division has announced the latest addition to its popular S.H.Figuarts line: S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Z Beta Smash Form, slated for release in April 2022.
The Beta Smash form, now being immortalized as a figure, is Ultraman Z's power-focused transformation, achieved by utilizing the Ultraman, Ultraman Ace, and Ultraman Taro Ultra Medals. This form boasts a striking red body with incredibly robust musculature. While less agile than his other forms, Beta Smash excels in close-quarters combat, unleashing powerful martial arts techniques such as his signature move, the "Zestium Uppercut."
The S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Z Beta Smash Form has been meticulously sculpted with assistance from Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department. The figure faithfully recreates the on-screen appearance, from the "Red Ultraman"-esque head mask to the bulging, powerful muscles across its body. Featuring highly articulated joints and multiple interchangeable hand parts, collectors can pose Ultraman Z in a wide array of dynamic combat stances. The set also includes effect parts to recreate his "Beta Crescent Slash" beam attack, along with "Zestium Maser" effect parts designed for use with the separately sold S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Z Alpha Edge Form.
