Hey everyone, today we're unboxing and sharing a detailed look at the Iron Patriot figure from Hot Toys.
This version of the Iron Patriot armor appeared during the final battle in "Avengers: Endgame."
After Giant-Man burst through the building's wreckage, Rhodey suddenly appeared in this new suit. It's a shame we never got to see the suiting-up sequence on screen.
While it shares the red, white, and blue color scheme with the Iron Patriot from "Iron Man 3," it was clear from the movie that the overall design is vastly different.
The "Endgame" Iron Patriot has a significantly bulkier and more imposing physique, a look that many fans prefer for the War Machine persona.
Because of this, the figure has a substantial weight and feels incredibly solid to handle. I didn't encounter any significant quality control issues.

Details
Compared to the more streamlined designs of later Iron Man models, this Iron Patriot features a wealth of angular lines, giving it a much more hardcore, military aesthetic.
The front chest plate is removable, and the circular device below it is also articulated (I honestly don't know what this is supposed to be according to the movie's lore).
Look at these beefy arms.
The back features articulated flaps that open up, allowing some of the weapon accessories to be stored inside (we'll show an example of this later).
The legs are also quite hefty, though they don't house any hidden weaponry.
The design of the feet looks engineered to handle the immense recoil from its weapons, keeping it rock-steady during a full barrage.
Head Sculpt
After so many War Machine releases, we finally get a complete, unhelmeted Don Cheadle head sculpt.
Previous figures only included a helmeted version with an open faceplate.
Alternate Hands
The massive back-mounted energy cannon and various mini-missile launchers.
Interchangeable forearm weapons allow for two different combat configurations.
The full-barrage mode looks absolutely awesome.
As mentioned earlier, some of these weapon accessories can be stored on the back like this.
Of course, you can't fit everything at once, so you can pick and choose which parts to display in storage.

That about wraps up the overview.
This Iron Patriot is an excellent figure, and I highly recommend picking it up.
Plus, with the "Avengers" hype having cooled down, the initial plans of scalpers to flip this figure for a high price have largely failed.
This has led to an oversupply and a drop in the aftermarket price. That's great news for fellow collectors who missed the pre-order or are just getting into the hobby now. If you've been thinking about getting one, don't miss this opportunity.
