Operating under the brand mission of being "the beauty expert by your side," Japan-based Biore has long been dedicated to offering a diverse range of skin cleansing products to meet consumer demands for a fresh and clean lifestyle. From at-home makeup removers and body washes to on-the-go sunscreens, deodorants, and body wipes, Biore provides 365 days of clean confidence. The brand also caters to male consumers with its MEN's Biore line, a full range of cleansing products designed specifically for their needs. Since actively managing its social media presence in 2016, Biore launched an official Instagram account in 2020 to meet the demands of the younger generation, continuously strengthening its engagement with them. This strategy paid off, as Biore was named one of Taiwan's Top 25 "2020 Facebook Most Influential Brands" in a study jointly conducted by Facebook and Nielsen Taiwan for the Taiwanese market.

Recognizing the younger generation's preference for diverse and eye-catching content, Biore has launched limited-edition packaging featuring character collaborations for several products, engaging this demographic through a variety of rich online activities. In May 2020, the brand's deodorant and pore strips featured a collaboration with Barbapapa. In addition to social media unboxing videos demonstrating how to use the included DIY stickers, the campaign bridged online and offline activities by inviting fans to take creative photos at major drugstores and beauty retailers. They could then upload these photos to the campaign post, where Biore would create customized versions for them to keep. In June, the makeup remover series partnered with renowned illustrator Bye Bye Chuchu for an adorable limited-edition packaging featuring his character Orbi. Building on this concept, an Instagram AR filter was created for fans to interact with, catering to their love of photography and successfully boosting fan loyalty and discussion around the limited-edition products. In July, the MEN's Biore line launched a collaboration with the popular manga "One Piece," featuring clever thermochromic technology in the packaging design. This was promoted with compelling short-form video content, successfully sparking consumer interest and driving social media buzz. The brand also ran a proof-of-purchase promotion, offering "One Piece" merchandise as prizes to further increase overall sales.
The "2020 Facebook Most Influential Brands" list is the result of the "Mobile Generation's Most Influential Brand Index," a research study conducted for the Taiwanese market by Facebook and Nielsen Taiwan. Based on the framework of Nielsen's third-party Brand Index survey, it calculates a brand connection score by combining metrics such as familiarity, affinity, trust, and recommendation likelihood with Facebook visibility and influence. This score is then evaluated alongside Facebook's internal data, including mobile video share, reach, and brand equity, to determine the top 25 "2020 Facebook Most Influential Brands."
