JOYTOY, the manufacturer renowned for its expertise in 1/18 scale sci-fi and military action figures, has just revealed its first wave of products for 2022 from its massively popular "Warhammer 40,000" licensed action figure line. The company is dropping a staggering five new sets at once, featuring new characters and troop types. The lineup includes the fan-favorite Ultramarines Primaris Captain in Gravis Armour, an Ultramarines Aggressor Squad, an Ultramarines Primaris Outrider Squad, an Ultramarines Primaris Reiver Squad, and a Chaos Space Marines Black Legion Warband.
"Warhammer 40,000" (often called "Warhammer 40K") is a tabletop wargame created by the British company Games Workshop, first released in 1987. Players collect and paint miniature figures, using them to battle on the tabletop according to a set of rulebooks. Now in its ninth edition (released in 2020), it stands as the most popular miniature wargame in the world. The universe of "Warhammer 40,000" is a rich tapestry of science fiction, fantasy, and religious themes, leading many fans to describe its setting as "fantasy in a sci-fi skin." The game features a vast array of factions, each with its own unique history and lore, which has spawned a massive expanded universe of novels, comics, and video games.

After securing the official license for "Warhammer 40,000," JOYTOY launched its first 1/18 scale figures in the summer of 2021. Leveraging their years of experience and technical expertise in the 1/18 scale, JOYTOY meticulously recreated the unique proportions and paint schemes of the tabletop miniatures. Combined with an accessible price point perfect for army building, the line offered incredible value and quickly set itself apart from other "Warhammer 40,000" merchandise. The series was an instant hit, earning widespread acclaim from fans. JOYTOY has since maintained a relentless release schedule, launching 11 sets with over 30 characters and even a massive Invictor Tactical Warsuit in just six months.
