Wonder Woman 1984
In 1984, Diana resides in Washington, D.C., working as an anthropologist at the Smithsonian while secretly fighting crime as Wonder Woman. Barbara Minerva, a new geologist and enigmatic zoologist at the museum, unexpectedly becomes a close friend of Diana, feeling envious of her at the same time. The FBI sends a batch of stolen artifacts, collectively coming from a jewelry store robbery that Diana thwarted not long ago, and entrusts Barbara to help examine them. Both Diana and Barbara are attracted to a "wish stone" among the stolen goods, inscribed with Latin that means it can grant the wish of whoever touches it. When Barbara wishes to be like Diana, she suddenly transforms overnight into a powerful charmer; meanwhile, Diana wishes to see her deceased lover Steve Trevor again, and when she attends a dinner at the Smithsonian the next day, she unexpectedly encounters Steve, who has 'revived' in the body of another stranger. This brings the long-separated couple back together......
The figure stands approximately 30.5 cm tall, with 28 points of articulation, replicating Diana in her golden armor during the latter part of the WW84 storyline. The inner bodysuit is coupled with layered shoulder armor, chest armor, and detailed leg parts, while the guardian silver bracelets at the forearm are faithfully recreated. The Lasso of Truth can also be hung at the waist, and the wings in their storage state can be assembled on the back using replacement parts. The head sculpt can be chosen in two forms, with or without the helmet. The highlight, of course, is that the head sculpt is made using rooted hair technology, enhancing the overall realism!
Due to its appearance and armor, the mobility of the figure is somewhat affected. The range of motion is limited, especially at the shoulders and thighs, with the biggest limitation being the waist... the mobility is nearly zero... So rather than consider her an action figure, it would be more appropriate to think of her as a movable statue!
Additionally, after assembling the golden wings, even if you use a stand, the back wings will be too heavy, causing it to lean backward. Care should also be taken with the joint between the ankle and calf; it is advisable to remove the ankle components before reassembling them into the calf. This will make the appearance even more perfect!
Summary: Beautiful! But not lifelike!
