Following the successful debut of the "White Base," Bandai Candy, the Shokugan division of Bandai Spirits, is set to release the next entry in its "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE SB" line. This new addition, the "Argama-class Assault Carrier 1st Ship Argama" from "Mobile Suit Z Gundam," is scheduled for release in July 2022.
The Argama is a space cruiser constructed by the Anti-Earth Union Group (AEUG). Its overall specifications were inspired by the White Base from the One Year War, but with significantly enhanced performance. The ship boasts two catapult decks and can carry a maximum of eight mobile suits, highlighting its strong emphasis on mobile suit operational capabilities. For non-combat situations, the two side residential blocks can extend outwards, rotating around the main body to generate centrifugal force, simulating gravity to enhance crew comfort.
The "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE SB Argama" meticulously recreates the ship's intricate design in a compact 154mm length. This includes the two catapult decks at the bow, the numerous large-volume thrusters and ventral fins at the rear and bottom, and the various cannons positioned across the entire vessel. Furthermore, interchangeable parts allow collectors to display the ship with its side residential blocks in their deployed state.
