JOYTOY, the brand renowned for its highly detailed 1/18 scale sci-fi military figures, has announced the latest addition to its critically acclaimed "Warhammer 40,000" licensed action figure series: the Ultramarines Bladeguard Veteran. These new figures are slated for release at the end of May 2022, with a suggested retail price of $65 USD per set.
"Warhammer 40,000" (often unofficially referred to as "Warhammer 40K") is a tabletop wargame created by British company Games Workshop, first released in 1987. Players engage by purchasing miniatures and rulebooks, with the game having evolved through nine editions since its inception, the latest arriving in 2020. It stands as one of the world's most popular miniature wargames, featuring a vast array of factions, each with unique lore and settings, which has spawned numerous derivative works including novels, comics, and video games.
