French manufacturer Oniri Creations, renowned for its exquisite anime statue craftsmanship, is set to release an exciting new piece based on the popular anime "Attack on Titan": the "Mikasa VS Armored Titan" 1/6 scale diorama statue. This highly anticipated collectible is limited to just 999 pieces worldwide, priced at €582.50, with an estimated Q4 2023 release.
Mikasa Ackerman (ミカサ・アッカーマン), a pivotal female character in "Attack on Titan," grew up alongside protagonists Eren and Armin, forming an inseparable trio. Known for her distinctive black hair, Mikasa is a descendant of the Ackerman clan on her father's side and one of the last pure-blooded Orientals within the Walls on her mother's side. After her parents' tragic murder, she was rescued by Eren and subsequently adopted by the Yeager family. Mikasa is typically rational, calm, and possesses exceptional combat skills. However, when faced with the potential loss of Eren, she can become uncharacteristically reckless and lose her composure, revealing an intense, almost obsessive devotion to him.
The Oniri Creations "Mikasa VS Armored Titan" 1/6 scale statue masterfully recreates a thrilling scene from the anime's second season, where Mikasa confronts the Armored Titan. In this dynamic portrayal, Mikasa wears Eren's iconic red scarf around her neck, her expression resolute and fearless. The intricate details of her Survey Corps uniform and Omni-Directional Mobility (ODM) gear are meticulously sculpted. She is also equipped with the specialized Thunder Spears, designed for effective Titan combat, as she deftly maneuvers within the Armored Titan's massive hand. The base further enhances the "Attack on Titan" world, featuring a finely textured Titan hand with complex musculature and scattered debris from destroyed buildings.
