Despite facing numerous challenges like the ongoing pandemic, postponements, and even a plum rain season downpour, the anticipation for the 18th Taipei Toy Festival remained undimmed among collectors. Overcoming all obstacles, TTF 2022 finally kicked off today (the 26th) at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park!
While international designers couldn't physically attend Taipei this year, incredible works from Hong Kong, Japan, and other regions are still on full display. Across Halls A and B, designer toy enthusiasts will find a wealth of exciting and engaging content! For those who couldn't make it, don't miss our on-site report!

▼ Fortunately, the skies cleared just before the morning session opened. A big shout-out to everyone who braved the queue!

Our team infiltrated the venue early this morning, before the crowds descended, to capture all the action. Designers have truly outdone themselves with incredibly thoughtful and impressive pieces, and the collaborations between artists are also a major highlight. Without further ado, let's dive into this year's exhibits!
● Special Exhibition Area – A-Lei
This special exhibition, presented by the artist A-Lei (who also designed this year's main visual) and Consciousness Gallery, features a dedicated monster zone from the "A-Lei Universe," set up like a greenhouse. It's definitely one of the must-see attractions this year.

● A28 A29 Paradise
Paradise Toy, known for its strong relationships with numerous Japanese designers, is showcasing exciting and unique new releases and limited-edition items from Konatsuya, Studio UAMOU, Dehara-san, Vivianwang Studio, Mao Mao Er's Sharky Ma (Lucky Tiger colorway), and more. However, to prevent crowding during the pandemic, Paradise's booth utilized a pre-lottery system for the first two days to determine purchase eligibility and order. Many collectors, including us, found themselves admiring from afar, unable to secure these coveted pieces!

● A30 The Little Hut
At booth A30, The Little Hut is releasing new works from three acclaimed artists: T9G, Shoko, and Shon. Limited edition items will be available for general sale on the 28th and 29th at 11:00 AM. Interested collectors should seize this opportunity and not miss out!

● A27 How2Work
Artist Kasing Lung once again presents stunning new creations. Additionally, brand merchandise is being sold in "lucky bag" (fukubukuro) style. There's also a TTF exclusive item. Both the lucky bags and the exclusive are being sold via a pre-lottery system for on-site pickup and purchase.
