BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS of Japan recently announced that the latest limited edition product, "RX-93 ν Gundam [MARKING PLUS VER.]", from the new 6-inch action figure series 'GUNDAM UNIVERSE', designed for Mobile Suit Gundam fans worldwide, combining distinctive styling with articulation, will be exclusively sold at San Diego Comic-Con, held from July 21-24, 2022, US time.
The 'GUNDAM UNIVERSE' series adopts the globally popular 6-inch scale, condensing excellent armor details, paintwork, and articulation into its 15-16 cm size. It boasts sharp lines from any angle, and its multiple joint designs are very sturdy, making it suitable for play. The mobile suit released this time is the personal unit piloted by Amuro Ray, the Newtype ace pilot of the Earth Federation Forces, from the theatrical anime masterpiece 'Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack'.
The "RX-93 ν Gundam [MARKING PLUS VER.]" uses the same parts as the regular version, interpreting its anime appearance through a unique new design, featuring a sophisticated yet undeniably cool and stable silhouette. The armor on the forearms, calves, and other areas even boasts muscular curves. Accessories include its signature armaments, the "Fin Funnels" and "Beam Saber". Unlike the regular version, this edition features additional body marking prints on the shoulder armor, skirt armor, and other areas, and yellow parts like the antenna have been changed to gold paint. However, it unfortunately still does not include the beam rifle and shield.
