Hello everyone, today I'm going to unbox and share with you the Lineage II Elf produced by OrchidSeed.
I personally have never played Lineage II, so I don't know much about the game and have no particular sentiment for it.
It's purely because the character design is so much to my liking that I've collected most of the related PVC figures.
Therefore, if I say anything incorrectly, please feel free to point it out and correct me.
Based on the correct English translation, this character should be an Elf, but everyone seems to be accustomed to calling her a "White Elf" (白妖).
This figure was released back in 2010, and after a 9-year hiatus, it was re-released once in 2019.
The biggest difference between the two versions is that the body mold was changed, and the location of the body seams was altered.
Additionally, the paint quality of the re-release seems to be better, which is based on other people's unboxing reviews.
However, this is also normal, as there's a 9-year difference between them.
I personally own the 2010 version. I unboxed it once before when I received it in 2016.
The reason I'm doing another unboxing this time is because the complete Elf collection is finally here! What do I mean by 'complete collection'?
The early Elf figures were released in three versions, differing in hair color: silver, gold, and pink.
The gold version is the most common for general sale, while the pink version is similar to a '2P color' (alternate color scheme) and is also generally available, so it's not hard to find.
The hardest to find is the silver version, as it was originally a Wonder Festival exclusive, limited to only 200 units.
It's very rare to see anyone selling the silver version on the market, and the asking prices, when they do appear, are often astonishing.
Some time ago, I was very fortunate to meet a kind fellow collector who had both the OrchidSeed Dark Elf (brown skin version) and the Silver-Haired Elf.
After discussing, the price for both figures together was excellent, with each figure costing less than the official retail price of the 2019 re-release.
Considering their rarity, it was truly a benevolent price.
(The unboxing for the brown-skinned Dark Elf has also been photographed and will be shared another day.)
This is also the first time I've collected multiple PVC figures just because of different colors, but it will likely be the last.
Some might think that the Dark Elf also has different skin tone versions, so I could collect multiples of those too.
However, as I said at the beginning, I have no sentiment for this game; I collect PVC figures simply because they look good.
And I really don't like the original skin tone of the Dark Elf, no matter how I look at it...

All three colors are here
The pink version was released later, with some slight changes to the box.

It's this sticker that makes the silver-haired version so hard to find.
The sculptor is Sakurako Ishinaga, familiar to many.

Contents
The gold-haired and silver-haired versions come with the same weapons, but the pink-haired version has different weapons.

A 360-degree view of all three together

Detail shots
The facial sculpt and clothing details are basically the same.
Of course, don't judge it by today's quality standards; this is a product that's over 10 years old.

The base colors are slightly different (for gold and silver, I'm not sure if they were originally different or if it's due to slight yellowing).

When the pink version is placed on its base, its overall standing posture and angle are different from the other two.
This is likely due to modifications made to the base and the pegs on the feet.

You can see a seam along the upper edge of the chest, which allows the upper body to be removed, making it easy to take off the clothing.
The seam on the 2019 version, however, was moved to the lower edge of the chest.

Since we're talking about taking off clothes, let's continue~ XD

The body detail painting is also similar.

Weapons
There are many small spikes, so be careful not to break them.
And I only know the Miracle Sword and the Staff of Infinity~ XD

The design for putting on and taking off the clothes is also the same.

That pretty much concludes the introduction to the contents of this unboxing.
For old items, I won't say whether I recommend them or not, as these older figures have many areas that could be improved compared to modern PVC figures.
But~ old item or not, I still have to say~ it's truly delightful~~
