Following the first wave of products released in July, Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd. has once again announced that the second wave of its new combining robot toy series 'UNITROBORN', featuring 'Pineapple Bus' and 'Ambulance Cake', will be released on September 17, 2022.
UNITROBORN is a brand new original toy series that inherits the lineage of Bandai's early "Machine Robo" toys. The story is set around mechanical lifeforms called "UTA-ZO" who came to Earth from space to protect its peace. They can use their songs to instantly combine any nearby objects of the same color into robots. Lobsters and apples, sharks and vending machines, hamburgers and bulldozers... all sorts of imaginative combinations can merge into powerful robots to defeat the mysterious enemies causing chaos!
The second wave also features two product combinations with similar colors yet unexpected pairings: the yellow "Pineapple Bus" and the red-and-white "Ambulance Cake". While maintaining their original object forms, they also conceal clever transformation and combination mechanisms. Simply align the combination pegs and press them in, and the spring mechanism will instantly deploy, allowing for a quick adjustment to complete the combined form!
