Japanese capsule toy brand Kitanklub's (キタンクラブ) "ART IN THE POCKET (AIP)" series will collaborate with renowned sculptor Ben Yamaguchi to release the super cute new capsule toy "Donut Headgear Cat". There will be three types, each priced at 500 JPY, and is expected to be released in November 2022.

Sculptor Ben Yamaguchi (@ben.yamaguchi) primarily uses stone powder clay as the main material for his works, creating vivid animal expressions and forms. His "Kaburi Neko" (Cats Wearing Headgear) series, featuring cats adorned with various headgear, is deeply loved by fans for its cute headgear designs, intricate details like delicate body movements, and vibrant color palette.

These cats, who wear everything, are now transformed into the "AIP Donut Headgear Cat" capsule toys. A white cat, a calico cat, and a black cat are each wearing a strawberry donut, a Pon de Ring donut, and a hot coffee cup – three common combinations found in donut shops! Their subtle bipedal standing posture, adorable and dazed expressions, and disproportionately large headgear make them incredibly cute and charming. Coupled with the AIP series' consistent attention to detail and quality paintwork, the fur texture and donut sprinkles are excellently rendered. Standing approximately 9.5 cm tall, these are sure not to disappoint fans!
