Japanese figure company Stronger (ストロンガー) is set to release a highly anticipated new product based on the super popular "Uma Musume Pretty Derby": the "Special Week 1/7 Scale Figure". With a suggested retail price of 23,800 JPY, it is scheduled for release in May 2023. (Currently available for limited sale only on Japanese amiami and Tokyo Figure websites.)
Uma Musume Special Week, hailing from Hokkaido, lost her birth mother shortly after birth and grew up with her human foster mother in Hokkaido. To fulfill the promise made to both mothers – "to become Japan's number one Uma Musume" – she underwent rigorous training from a young age. Being from the countryside, she often caused comical situations when she first transferred to Tracen Academy. Due to her lack of prior knowledge, she fumbled both the debut race's entrance ceremony and the victory live performance. However, with her unwavering effort and refusal to give up in the face of adversity, she won her debut race. She runs towards her dreams with innate perseverance!
The Uma Musume Pretty Derby Special Week 1/7 scale figure, standing approximately 23 cm tall, is based on the SSR Support Card [Standing on Japan's Number One Stage], bringing Special Week's vibrant, sparkling smile to life! Her gorgeous racing outfit is faithfully reproduced, with metallic paint accents on the accessories and a pearlescent finish on the fabric to create a dazzling texture! The voluminous tiered skirt billows gracefully, while her ponytail and hair ribbons behind her sway dynamically. Paired with Special Week's adorable expression, everyone, let's achieve our dreams together!
