METAL BUILD "GN Devise Dynames" Prototype Revealed, Featuring a Double Power Backpack with Built-in Sub-Arms!

Following the GN Devise Exia, the popular die-cast toy series "METAL BUILD", released by BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS in Japan, recently showcased a prototype of its latest work, the "GN Devise Dynames", from the official side story "Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Revealed Chronicle". This item is currently a reference exhibit and its commercialization has not yet been confirmed.

The new story linking "Gundam 00" with the METAL BUILD series, "Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Revealed Chronicle", recounts the development of the "TWIN DRIVE" system between the first and second seasons of the anime. After the private armed organization "Celestial Being" eradicated war through armed intervention and ended the civil war in the Kingdom of Azadistan, various Earth forces secretly collaborated to plan a counterattack against Celestial Being. To gain the power to stand against the world, Celestial Being experimentally installed the "DOUBLE DRIVE" system on mobile suits such as the Gundam Exia and Gundam Dynames during this period, obtaining double the amount of GN particles by linking two GN Drives, thereby unleashing higher mobile suit performance.

The "GN Devise Dynames", born from this experiment, once again features mechanical designer Takayuki Yanase for its design. A new "GN Devise Backpack" is added to its back, achieving higher performance by linking two GN Drives. However, as it is still in the experimental stage, it is only equipped with GN Particle storage tanks. Furthermore, the backpack also houses two sub-arms, which can be used to grasp GN Beam Sabers and GN Beam Pistols, allowing for the simultaneous use of a wider variety of armaments.

The "GN Devise Dynames" is a modification of the previously released "Gundam Dynames Repair III". New parts are used to recreate the full-cover shields on both shoulders, the front skirt armor with built-in GN Missile launchers, and the GN Devise Backpack. The main weapon, the GN Sniper Rifle, adopts the same specifications as the Gundam Astraea Type-X Finsternis, with a redesigned scope. The sub-arms housed within the backpack can deploy as per the design and equip GN Beam Sabers and Beam Pistols.
