Released by SEGA PRIZE, the prize figure brand under Japan's SEGA Corporation, the latest prize figures from the popular manga 'Yuru Camp', 'PREMIUM FIGURE Kagamihara Nadeshiko' and 'PREMIUM FIGURE Shima Rin', will be simultaneously released on August 31, 2022.
The manga series 'Yuru Camp△' (ゆるキャン△), created by Japanese manga artist Afro, tells the story of high school girl Shima Rin, who enjoys solo camping during the off-season. While camping at Lake Motosu, she encounters Kagamihara Nadeshiko, who rode her bicycle to see Mt. Fuji but overslept and found herself in a predicament. After interacting with Rin, Nadeshiko develops an interest in camping and subsequently joins her school's 'Outdoor Activities Club,' beginning a tale of high school girls enjoying camping knowledge, outdoor cooking, and other outdoor activities together.
'PREMIUM FIGURE Kagamihara Nadeshiko' and 'PREMIUM FIGURE Shima Rin' each bring the two protagonists' warm winter down jacket outfits to life in a three-dimensional form, standing approximately 19 cm tall. With rich colors, details such as their clothing and zippers are faithfully reproduced. Their individual poses capture Nadeshiko's liveliness and Shima Rin's calm demeanor. Displayed individually, they already convey the characters' charm. However, placing both figures together reveals that their poses are meticulously designed to recreate an adorable scene of their interaction.
