Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS' prize brand BANPRESTO recently unveiled several new products slated for release in January 2023. Among them, the "World Collectable Figure (WCF)" series, which features Q-version renditions of numerous anime and manga characters, includes a "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" entry, with the "Sound Hashira," his wives, and Upper Rank Six "Daki" joining the fray!
This WCF collection, themed around the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc" and centered on the Uzui Tengen family, features a total of 5 collectible figures. These are "Uzui Tengen" showcasing his incredibly handsome appearance after removing his makeup, the energetic "Makio," the seemingly timid "Suma" holding a kunai, the calm and composed "Hinatsuru" always ready for battle, and "Daki" revealing her true form after shedding her Oiran disguise! Although they are mini-sized at only 7 cm tall, details such as Daki's hair ornaments, the patterns on her obi, and the characters in her eyes are all faithfully reproduced. The three wives perfectly capture their individual temperaments, and as for the Sound Hashira, he's simply cool and enviable – there's nothing more to say.
