Hello everyone, today I'm going to unbox and share with you the Hot Toys Marvel Comics The Origins Collection Iron Man (Deluxe Version).
In the past, Hot Toys has released many Iron Man movie-related figures.
While each model might seem similar, they all possess their unique characteristics.
This time, Hot Toys is launching an even more distinctive Iron Man.
It's a comic book version of Iron Man, based on early MARVEL comics, with an overall design that exudes a retro feel, just as depicted in classic comics.
While not as sleek as the movie versions, it truly has a lot of character.
Furthermore, Hot Toys' modifications and integration of some original designs prevent the overall look and lines from appearing as simplistic as in early comic versions.
It also avoids looking like a mere bodysuit, maintaining a strong sense of armor.

The outer box features comic illustrations as a backdrop, perfectly fitting the Marvel Comics theme.

Marvel Comics is also engraved on the side, though it's a bit hard to see.

The Origins
Translating it as 'Primal' or 'Origin' would both be acceptable.

Contents
Due to the interchangeable armor, there appear to be quite a few accessories.

Since I purchased the Deluxe Version, the base is also more elaborate.

Figure Overview

Detail Section
Initially, I was a bit concerned that the transparent shell design might look strange, but the actual product looks surprisingly good.
This design, which allows direct viewing of all internal structures, even where the batteries are installed, is quite bold.
Furthermore, the overall muscle lines are much more pronounced than in the movie versions, offering a very pleasing visual experience.

Interchangeable Armor
The transparent armor on the head, shoulders, chest, arms, legs, and waist can all be replaced with solid-colored armor.
Players can assemble it into any form they like, or even mix and match.

The helmet's faceplate also has another interchangeable form.

Base, which can light up.
If you only purchase the regular version, the base will just be this with an added stand.
(I'm not sure if this specific base is exactly the same for both the regular and deluxe versions.)

Next are the accessories exclusive to the Deluxe Version.
A simulated holographic effect accessory, and a briefcase with an opening/closing mechanism (I forgot to photograph it closed...).
The overall combination effect is excellent.

The base incorporates the concept of a maintenance platform, instantly adding a lot of richness.

That concludes the introduction to the contents.
I encountered no issues during the unboxing and posing, and the articulation is also quite good.
If you're tired of the movie versions of Iron Man, this comic book version offers a refreshing experience.
I personally highly recommend it for collection.
