BANDAICANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., recently announced the latest product from the new 'SHODO-XX' series, an evolution of the popular 'SHODO' action Shokugan line, featuring "Kamen Rider W EX" from "Kamen Rider W", slated for release in January 2023.
'SHODO-XX (DOUBLE CROSS)' boasts enhanced sculpting and articulation compared to previous series, utilizing numerous new parts to refine the designs of various Kamen Riders and redesigning joints to expand the range of motion, aiming to faithfully recreate the cool suits and iconic actions from the show. This "Kamen Rider W EX" set includes the enhanced forms of the two main Riders from the series, W and ACCEL.
The three Rider figures – Kamen Rider W FangJoker, Kamen Rider W CycloneJoker Xtreme, and Kamen Rider ACCEL Trial – stand approximately 10 cm tall. They feature various metallic paint applications to reproduce the colors of their bodies and belts, and come with their respective signature armaments, such as the Fang memory blades, Prism Bicker & Prism Sword, and Engine Blade & Trial Memory, allowing for dynamic battle poses with their flexible articulation.
