Hong Kong's renowned collectible toy brand Threezero, under its new robot alloy action figure series 'ROBO-DOU (ロボ道)', following the release of popular products from 'Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition' such as 'EVA Unit-01', 'EVA Unit-02', and 'EVA Unit-00' (Kai)', has now for the first time launched an Apostle character: 'Fourth Angel'!! It is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2023!
The most well-known Fourth Angel, 'Sachiel' (サキエル), in the EVA Apostle world, is named after the angel of water, 'Sachiel', in Judaism and Christianity. In the TV and manga versions of 'Neon Genesis Evangelion', it was the first attacking Third Angel, and in 'Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition', it is also the first Apostle to appear (but is referred to as the Fourth Angel). Its pale, eerie face, massive body, and slender limbs, combined with its impactful debut in the series, leave a deep impression, and its unique design has made it a consistently popular character.
The 'ROBO-DOU Fourth Angel' alloy action figure combines composite materials such as die-cast zinc alloy, ABS, and POM. Standing approximately 25 cm tall, it features intricate mechanisms and a rich 47 points of articulation, faithfully reproducing the Fourth Angel's distinctive design and body proportions. Threezero's acclaimed delicate painting techniques highlight the eerie skeletal texture of the Fourth Angel's body! To recreate classic scenes from the series, it comes with a variety of accessories, including a standard head and a replacement head part revealing its second face, as well as gill-like replacement parts for both thighs to display its open state during combat. Additionally, there's a Spear of Light effect part composed of two transparent pieces (large and small) that can be attached to its closed left hand and elbow.
An A.T. Field effect part is included, allowing you to recreate battle scenes from the series when paired with the separately sold EVA Unit-01 (Test Type)!
