BUR-LANTERN Debut Limited Edition - Full Moon Release
The brand new work from MADE BY PLASTIC X BOXES TOY, the "BUR-LANTERN" soft vinyl toy, draws its creative concept from the idea that "it's hard to find a lantern we truly like in the market." Therefore, they chose the universally appealing hamburger shape, combining it with high-definition transparent soft vinyl toy manufacturing technology. This allows everyone to unleash their creativity during festive seasons, using their imagination to transform it into a beautiful lantern, accompanying them during moon-gazing gatherings. The two BUR-LANTERN editions making their debut are the DEBUT EDITION, limited to 20 pieces with a semi-transparent paint finish, and the fully transparent EVENT EDITION, which will be exclusively available at SUPERMAN TOYS during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
BUR-LANTERN Origin Story
A stardust boy named BLOOM, from 600 million light-years away, accidentally fell into Haridwar in ancient northern India, where he met the yoga master "Bhutan Curry." Unable to find any way to return home, BLOOM dedicated himself to studying Star King Yoga with "Bhutan Curry," even comprehending the highest realm of lotus-seated meditation, often practicing until his mind was purified and he could levitate.
2322 years later, BLOOM's spirit drifted into a light bulb in a fast-food restaurant in Jakarta. Every day, he saw customers who loved to eat the restaurant's most popular "CHEESEMASTER" hamburger. To honor the supreme yoga teachings imparted by "Bhutan Curry," BLOOM ultimately decided to use the light bulb and the "CHEESEMASTER" hamburger's physical form as a vessel to return to Earth.
However, the anomaly triggered by the fusion of the stardust spirit, originally composed of fragmented particles, with a solid object, prevented BLOOM from freely entering a levitating meditative state. This led to a spiritual schism, disintegrating him into two major factions: "BUR-LANTERN" and "BUR-IMMORTAL." To restore himself, BLOOM, with no other choice, embarked on a quest to find his "fragmented spirit-souls" scattered throughout the universe, guided by the philosophy of "haste makes waste, but perseverance conquers all."

After the stardust boy's spirit reappeared in Jakarta, it resided within a light bulb at the FREE BUNS fast-food restaurant, later transforming into the "BUR-LANTERN" form to continue its dream journey. The first DEBUT EDITION "BUR-LANTERN" soft vinyl toy showcases a semi-transparent paint finish, symbolizing BLOOM's state of "metamorphosis," applied to the hamburger shape.
