Following the first wave and second wave of products, Bandai Co., Ltd.'s new transforming robot toy series 'UNITROBORN' recently announced its latest third wave of products, 'Penguin Camera' and 'Pancake Dump Truck,' scheduled for release in October 2022.
'UNITROBORN' is a brand new original toy series that inherits the legacy of Bandai's early 'Machine Robo' toys. The story is set around 'UTA-ZO,' mechanical lifeforms from space who arrive on Earth to protect its peace. With their songs, they can instantly combine any nearby objects of the same color into robots. Lobsters and apples, sharks and vending machines, hamburgers and bulldozers... all sorts of imaginative combinations can merge into powerful robots to defeat mysterious enemies causing chaos!
The third wave lineup includes the similarly gray and black colored 'Penguin & Camera' and the similarly orange and yellow colored 'Pancake & Dump Truck.' At first glance, both sets maintain the original shapes of the objects, but they actually conceal precise transformation and combination mechanisms, allowing two unexpected items to merge into a robot! Simply align the combination joint and press it in, and the spring mechanism will instantly deploy, completing the combined form after a simple adjustment!
▼ The penguin and camera can combine into a reconnaissance-type UNITROBO, equipped with cold resistance and photography functions, capable of moving across land, sea, and air.
