Bandai Candy Division of Bandai Co., Ltd. recently unveiled the product lineup for its latest release, "Shodo XX Kamen Rider 3," a new series evolved from the popular articulated candy toy 'Shodo.' Pre-orders are expected to open starting September 20, 2022.
'Shodo XX (DOUBLE CROSS)' further enhances sculpting and articulation compared to previous series, utilizing a large number of newly sculpted parts to refine the designs of various Kamen Riders. It also features redesigned articulated joints to expand the range of motion, aiming to reproduce the cool suits and classic actions from the show as much as possible. This third wave's lineup includes multiple Riders and forms from "Kamen Rider OOO," "Kamen Rider KIVA," and "Kamen Rider GHOST"!
▼ Kamen Rider OOO Tatoba Combo and Kamen Rider OOO Gatakiriba Combo are produced with completely new sculpting. While featuring flexible articulated joints, they also reproduce the transformation gimmick of each Combo, allowing the head, arms, and legs to be freely interchanged to form various sub-Combos.
▼ Kamen Rider KIVA is also produced with completely new sculpting. By using the interchangeable leg parts from the expansion parts set, the appearance of his right leg unsealed when performing his finisher "DARKNESS MOON BREAK" can be reproduced.
▼ The true awakened form, "Kamen Rider KIVA Emperor Form," is finally being commercialized in the Shodo series. Its entire body features a maximum reproduction of its golden paintwork, and the expansion parts set includes his exclusive weapon, the "Zanvat Sword."
▼ The secondary Rider from "Kamen Rider KIVA," "Kamen Rider IXA Save Mode," is, of course, also made with completely new parts, reproducing the intricate details of the head and chest. Furthermore, by using the interchangeable parts from the expansion parts set and the IXA Calibur, the cool "Burst Mode" can be reproduced!
▼ Kamen Rider Ghost Ore Damashii is being three-dimensionalized in the Shodo series for the first time. The hooded jacket part is made of soft material to reduce interference with articulation, while various patterns and designs across the body are reproduced with transfer printing.
▼ Also making its debut is the enhanced form, Kamen Rider Ghost Toucon Boost Damashii, reproducing the characteristic fiery red color of its entire body through paintwork.
▼ In addition to the Rider figures themselves, there is also an "Expansion Parts Set," which includes a rich assortment of exclusive weapons and interchangeable parts for each Rider.
