Max Factory, a Japanese model manufacturer, has today announced that "Genjinmaru," the latest product from their highly popular and diverse model kit brand 'PLAMAX,' based on Mashin Hero Wataru, is scheduled for release in March 2023.
The ninja-type Mashin "Genjinmaru" is a unit used by the Shinobe clan. It is equipped with high-sensitivity night vision cameras called "Shinobi Eyes" that allow it to see enemies in the dark. Its legs feature "Sound-Dampening Tabi" to eliminate walking sounds, and "Sailor Tabi" that conceal the "Genryu Sword" hidden weapon. The massive "Genbu Shuriken" mounted on its back is not only a powerful weapon but also functions as a flight wing. The two-person cockpit has seats for both humans and animal ninjas, allowing the transformed monkey Genryusai and his daughter Himiko to pilot it respectively.
The "PLAMAX Genjinmaru" is constructed with multi-color molded parts and foil stickers for color correction. Once assembled, it stands approximately 8 cm tall. Each joint is articulated, allowing for dynamic battle poses with its weapons such as the shuriken, Rai Kodachi (lightning short sword), and the Genryu Sword that deploys from its feet. The back can also recreate the deployed wing state using interchangeable parts. Furthermore, the product will include unpainted figures of Himiko and Genryusai, which can be displayed alongside Genjinmaru!
