Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY releases the popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different products. Following releases from the VTuber group hololive production such as "Minato Aqua", "Gawr Gura", and "Akai Haato", the Ojou-sama "Nendoroid Nakiri Ayame" is also set to appear! The suggested retail price is 7,200 JPY, with an estimated release in March 2023.
hololive's second-generation member Nakiri Ayame (百鬼あやめ) is designed with the image of a Japanese oni (demon/ogre) god, illustrated by Kagura Nana (artist name > ななかぐら). She is over 1500 years old and uses archaic language, referring to herself as "Yo (よ)". In her lore, she is a kimono-clad oni god girl belonging to a demon world school, who loves to play pranks and often releases will-o'-the-wisps to tease others.
The "Nendoroid Nakiri Ayame" stands approximately 10 cm tall. This chibi-style figure faithfully recreates her white and red gradient hair, the intricate Higanbana (spider lily) patterns on her traditional attire, the red and white suzuo (bell cord) knot, and her twin swords! She comes with three interchangeable face plates: an energetic "Standard Face," a smug "Grinning Face" with an ω-shaped mouth, and a "Super Excited Face" with eyes closed in laughter (>
