Following the release of Shin Getter 1 (threezero arrange version), Hong Kong toy brand threezero's robot die-cast action figure series, "ROBO-DOU," recently announced its latest product from the original "Getter Robo" series: "Shin Getter 1 (threezero arrange version) BLACK Ver.," slated for release in the second quarter of 2023.
The overall structure of the "ROBO-DOU Shin Getter 1 (threezero arrange version) BLACK Ver." is fundamentally the same as the regular version, featuring a die-cast metal frame construction. The entire figure boasts 57 points of articulation, with its overall design reinterpreted by threezero to include unique and distinctive details. Compared to the original's bulky physique, the threezero version features a more modern aesthetic in its body proportions, with slender limbs and armor rich in panel lines, sculpted with battle-damaged effects. The green transparent parts on the chest reveal internal mechanisms, while the significantly exposed joints and back design enhance the rich mechanical texture. Accessories include 4 pairs of interchangeable hands, its main weapons, the Getter Scythe and Getter Tomahawk.
The paint scheme, featuring black, silver, and green, expresses an original new colorway that pays homage to Black Getter, unfurling green wings that appear to be brimming with Getter Ray energy. The face sculpt also features a new design, distinct from the regular version, with red paint applied beneath the eyes, recreating a cool look as if shedding tears of blood. The black cape on the back is made of fabric material, with embedded metal wires allowing for dynamic, flowing poses. Combined with its flexible articulation and various weapons, you can recreate awesome battle scenes!
