At the climax of "Rebuild of Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance," EVA Unit-01, rendered combat-incapable by the 10th Angel, awakens into its "Pseudo-Evolution First Awakening Form" under Shinji's fervent will "to rescue the consumed Rei Ayanami." The green parts of its original restraint armor have transformed into red, and its severed arm is depicted as a regenerated arm made of transparent material, powerfully evoking Shinji's intense "Give her back!" will to retrieve Rei. Equipped with internal LED lighting effects, which emanate from its eyes, mouth, arms, waist, and chest, the statue delivers astonishing power and visual impact.
