BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan has announced the latest product from the 'HG (High Grade)' series, the most diverse 1/144 scale Gunpla lineup, 'HG 1/144 Zowort' from 'Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch from Mercury', scheduled for release in February 2023.
The Zowort is a mobile suit built by Peil Technologies, one of the three major corporations in the series. It features a large chest integrated with its backpack, and a sleek, agile design with slender limbs. It is capable of independent flight thanks to its large back thrusters. Its armaments include beam pistol-like weapons and two beam sabers stored in its wrists.
The 'HG 1/144 Zowort' faithfully recreates its anime appearance with multi-color molded parts and excellent part separation. Its post-assembly construction makes it easier to build, while ball joints in the neck, chest, and waist provide flexible articulation, allowing the mobile suit to strike forward and backward leaning poses. Its armaments include beam pistol-like weapons, and the mechanism for storing the two beam saber hilts beneath the arms is also reproduced.
