Released by the HOBBY Division of BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. Japan, the model kit series "SDCS (SD CROSS SILHOUETTE)", which allows free transformation between high and low head-to-body ratio frames, has once again announced its latest product from the game "SD Gundam G Generation" following Phoenix Gundam: the "Tornado Gundam", scheduled for release in Spring 2023.
Familiar to players of the "SD Gundam G Generation" series, the Tornado Gundam (Cyclone Gundam) is an original Gundam mobile suit that first appeared in "SD Gundam GX". Its initial setting was an unknown mobile suit placed in a neutral production base, which players could use by occupying the base. In the G Generation series, it became a default mobile suit available to players upon starting the game. This mobile suit has decent performance and strong versatility, capable of operating in any terrain. In addition to armaments like beam rifles and beam sabers, its abdomen and arms also conceal fixed armaments such as a diffuse mega particle cannon and Gatling gun, respectively.
Currently, only a prototype of the "SDCS Tornado Gundam" has been revealed. It can reproduce a high head-to-body ratio form using the CS frame.
