KADOKAWA's KDcolle brand will release the "Faputa 1/7 Scale Figure" based on the popular anime "Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun"! It will be available in a regular edition and a KADOKAWA Special Set edition, with an anticipated release in March 2023!
"Faputa (ファプタ)", who appears in Akihito Tsukushi's manga "Made in Abyss", is a Narehate (Hollow) residing in the sixth layer, "The Capital of the Unreturned", and is known as the "Princess of the Catastrophe's End". She possesses four arms, brown skin, and red claws, with three red horns on her head. Most of her body is covered in white fur, giving her a very cute appearance. She is accompanied by an interference unit and knew Reg before he lost his memories.
The "KDcolle Faputa 1/7 Scale Figure" stands approximately 205 mm tall. It faithfully recreates Faputa's adorable appearance, with the white fur covering her body and tail meticulously reproduced using flocking, making her even more fluffy and cute against her smooth brown skin! The claws and horns are also carefully given a ruby-like glossy finish. Notably, the eyes are printed behind transparent parts, creating a distinct sense of depth and realism. The base is inspired by the theme of Faputa's overflowing power when she descended upon the village of the catastrophe's end, "The Capital of the Unreturned", creating an overall mysterious atmosphere.
